Terms
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Draft notice
This is a draft for review and is not yet a binding legal agreement. Final terms will be published before launch and are subject to change.
Acceptance of terms
By creating a PayAuth account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PayAuth.
Eligibility
PayAuth is available to businesses based in the United States. By using PayAuth, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.
The service
PayAuth provides the payment rails you use to collect on outstanding invoices. You connect an agent of your choosing to handle outreach; PayAuth provides the secure checkout it hands off to, processes the payment, settles the money to you, and reconciles it to your records. Payment processing is provided by Stripe. The scope of the service may change as PayAuth develops.
Fees and payments
You choose the fee you pay PayAuth on each successful collection, a percentage or a flat amount, subject to a minimum of 5% of the amount collected. Standard payment processing fees apply on top of the fee you set. You are charged only when a payment succeeds.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the receivables you record and for ensuring you have the right to collect them. You agree to use PayAuth only for legitimate business collections.
Third-party services
PayAuth relies on trusted third-party providers, and your use of the service is also subject to their terms. Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe, which handles card and bank details and is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1. Sign-in with Google is available if you choose it. If you connect them, QuickBooks (provided by Intuit) and Xero let PayAuth import invoices and reconcile payments under your authorization. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy, and their names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
Payments and payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe, and your share is paid out to your bank on a weekly schedule. Your bank and card details are handled by Stripe under its own terms, and PayAuth does not store your raw financial details.
Termination
You may stop using PayAuth at any time. PayAuth may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where required to protect the service.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. PayAuth does not guarantee that every invoice will be collected.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PayAuth’s liability arising from your use of the service is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
PayAuth may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
